Virtual Urgent Care
Virtual urgent care provides real-time medical care through a secure video visit with a licensed physician.
It is designed for common, non-emergency adult health concerns that can be safely evaluated and treated without in-person exams, imaging, or procedures.
What Is Virtual Urgent Care?
Virtual urgent care provides timely evaluation for common health concerns through a live video visit. The clinician reviews your symptoms, medical history, and relevant risk factors, then discusses likely diagnoses and evidence-based treatment options.
Virtual urgent care is not the right fit when you need imaging, procedures, hands-on physical examination, or close monitoring. When in-person evaluation is needed, we will inform you and explain next steps.
What Conditions Are Appropriate for Virtual Urgent Care?
Virtual urgent care is best for acute, uncomplicated concerns where diagnosis and treatment can be guided by symptoms, history, and visual assessment over video where relevant.
Respiratory and sinus concerns
Congestion, sinus pressure, cough, sore throat, and viral symptoms when there is no breathing distress.
Urinary and genital concerns
Typical urinary symptoms in adults and other uncomplicated presentations appropriate for video evaluation.
Gastrointestinal concerns
Nausea, diarrhea, reflux, and mild abdominal discomfort without red flag symptoms.
Skin and soft tissue concerns
Rashes, allergic reactions, fungal infections, acne flares, and insect bites when the area can be clearly visualized.
What Virtual Urgent Care Cannot Treat
Virtual urgent care is not suitable for emergencies or situations where immediate in-person evaluation is required.

- Severe abdominal pain, testicular pain, or uncontrolled vomiting
- Major trauma, suspected fracture, deep wound, or uncontrolled bleeding
- Conditions requiring imaging, IV medications, procedures, or monitoring
